"An Apple iPhone

For months we heard about the new
3G Apple iPhone and
how cool it was going to be when it was released.

It was incredible news, and great
timing, because the new phone came out just one week after my
drawing for the Free Apple iPhone for my clients! Wow!
Luck was on my side!!! The new "lower price", all the new
benefits, etc. etc. etc.. Sounds great, and it IS great-
if you can get one!
The day they were available, July 11th,
2008 (a day that shall go down in infamy!) the new phone was finally
released. I was thrilled- so much I went to purchase
one. When I got there, the line was trailing wildly
outside the store and down to the next store front. I
immediately called a friend who knows about these things and he
informed me that Apple and AT&T had sold out in one hour!
(Now, I ask you, is that good planning on their part? I think
NOT!) So, I turned around and left!
Disappointed, yes, but irritated more than anything.
Upon examining the situation some more, I realized that existing
customers are getting the shaft on this phone, too. The
new "lower price" (which is really 1/2 off and a GREAT deal) is
only available to customers activating NEW lines.
WHAT????? Are the loyal regular customers not worth offering
something as an incentive??? We keep them in "biz" after
all!
So, unless you are planning on setting up a brand new number and
account with them, don't expect to get that great deal.
But if you're an Apple iPhone fan, you probably already know all
this. But, I had to share my sad story and findings!

Now, back to my old "regular" cell phone... someone's calling;
probably to tell me they just got their brand new iPhone!
I'm SOOOO happy for them! (Really- I am). :-/
