I have provided beautiful ceremony music for Metro-Atlanta area brides for 21 years.   My music will truly delight your family and friends in attendance to celebrate your day.

I am not, however, a classically-trained pianist, but I do offer the "basics" for the wedding ceremony: 

I do not usually attend the rehearsals or rehearsal dinner.  
A short discussion before the ceremony
with the Minister officiating
gives me the cues and timing.
You can, for a fee, have me attend your rehearsal for your event.

I require a minimum of 50% deposit to reserve your date, which needs to be returned with the signed contract at the time of booking.

I offer a 10%-off Early Full-Pay discount to those who pay in-full for their events at the time of booking.  Please make sure you choose that option if you are booking with the automated system!

From time to time, I may run specials, which are then sent via e-mail and include PayPal links specifically reflecting your discount.
 

Since the products I offers are "services",
 there are no "returns" in the traditional sense.  

However, from time to time,
a couple has to postpone their wedding or reception
due to extenuating circumstances.   
I will reschedule the event*, based on my availability.    
If the new date chosen is unavailable,
I offers full credit toward another event
(Christmas party, birthday, etc.) or studio time (see below).

There are unfortunate moments
when a couple will cancel their union plans altogether*.   
In these circumstances, as stated above, I offer full credit toward another event or service.

I am confident that
all the plans you've made will unfold smoothly
and none of the above options will be needed.

(From the contract)*- Cancellation of the contract must be received, in writing, no less than thirty (30) days prior to contract starting date.   Less than thirty (30) day notice results in the client compensating Douglas D. Gazlay  a severance payment equal to 50% of the balance due, if any.
 

Meeting Before Booking Policy
Since my schedule is very busy with recording clients, and the many other activities I engage in, it is my hope that a review of this website and a phone conversation will supply confidence for you to know if you'd like to have me as your Pianist and/or DJ. 
However, I understand that some couples really want to meet their DJ before booking.   To do so, you must be Pre-Qualified as seriously considering booking me for your event. 

Pre-qualified Requirements:
1) We have negotiated, and agreed to, the terms of your event (price, times, etc.).
2) A contract has been sent to you with the intent of you booking me.
3) The final decision to book me will be based on one short meeting.
4) If you feel comfortable with everything at our meeting, you will place your deposit/payment at that time.

Those wishing to meet before booking without being pre-qualified can do so for a $50.00 (1 hour) consultation fee (applicable toward payment of my services if you book with me).  This must be paid in advance (with credit card online via PayPal) to secure the meeting time.   No refunds will be given for cancellations.    Unfortunately, many people have booked and cancelled (or have not shown up) at the time reserved.  This is not only rude, but it takes valuable studio time away from serious paying clients.

The Planning Session
After booking:  A complimentary, optional  planning meeting will be scheduled (usually about two to three weeks before the wedding/reception) to plan your special day.   The meeting place is at my D-Grooves Recording Studio- in  Smyrna, Georgia.

Your music will be planned with every detail, even including special remixes of songs for your First Dance, Father/Daughter and Mother/Song dances, etc..  You can begin to plan by downloading my EVENT WORKSHEET which will be used at our session.

This planning meeting is included in the price of your event and ensures a very successful wedding and/or reception.

Song Selections

Picking the right songs for your wedding or reception can be very time consuming.   I recommends giving the "style" or "feel" of the music you prefer.   Then we'll develop the reception music around your preferences. 

My piano repertoire includes: Pop, Broadway, and easy listening "cocktail" music.

When spinning discs (DJ), I use Smooth Jazz during the cocktail and dinner portion of your reception.   Then switching to the specifics that you have requested for the "party/dancing" section.
